  • Initial Enquiry: The client contacts ECDesigns with their website requirement information.
  • Agree Requirements: A telephone/e-mail or onsite meeting is held with the client to agree the site specification and requirements
  • Estimate Provided: ECDesigns provides an estimate of the costs for the design and creation of the web site and the time it will take to complete.
  • Approval for Work to Commence: The client accepts the estimate and approves the work
  • Client Provides Material and Content: The client must provide all agreed written material, information and images before work commences.
  • Work Commences:On agreement of terms ECDesigns will commence work on the project and upload the developing site to a temporary space on the Internet. This will allow the client to view and approve the on-going work and to provide feedback.
  • Hosting and Domain Name: ECDesigns will arrange your domain name and hosting package if you wish
  • Completion: When the client agrees that the site meets the requirements an invoice for the final amount will be issued. Upon settlement of this invoice the site will be released for upload to the client’s server or permanent web space.
  • On-going Maintenance: Any regular maintenance or search engine promotion activity is then agreed.

Information We Collect

Required Information
When making an enquiry to ECdesigns, you must initially provide your name, and email address.

This information will be stored by us securely and not passed on to any other person unless you have been asked and give your full permission.

If you decide not to go ahead with a web site the information gathered will be imediately destroyed.

ECDesign will follow Data Protection Regulations.

Data Protection Act 1998

1. Personal data must be processed fairly and lawfully
2. Data shall be obtained and processed only for specified purposes
3. That data must be adequate, relevant and not excessive for the purpose
4. The data must be accurate and up to date
5. The data must not be kept for longer than is necessary
6. The data shall be processed in accordance with individuals rights
7. Measures must be taken to safeguard the security of the data
8. Data shall not be transferred outside the EU unless adequate measures exist to protect the rights and freedoms of individuals.
